Jeerakashala rice

Soak the jeerakashala rice in water for 3 hours
white rice (cooked)

For coconut side sweet
coconut (grated)

Step 1
Take a mixer grinder.add jeerakashala rice(soaked and drained well),cooked rice,sugar,salt and cardamom powder.grind it well adding water little by little.
Step 2
do not add too much water,as the batter should not be loosy.
Step 3
now put deep pan on medium flame.add sunflower oil.(don’t add too much oil)
Step 4
then take a big spoon of batter and pour it to the hot oil.cook it on low-medium flame for 3-4 minutes.no need to flip it.
Step 5
when the appam is well cooked, remove from the oil.
Step 6
then we will make coconut sweet side dish for this.for that put a pan on medium flame.add ghee,coconut grated and sugar.mix well and cook it for 5 minutes.turn off the flame.
Step 7
kunji kalathappam and coconut sweet is ready to serve with a cup of tea!!
