Step 1
Peel off the potatoes and carrot.clean well.cut in small parts.cook it in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles adding little water and salt.turn off the flame and allow the cooker to release pressure.keep it aside.
Step 2
Now put a pan on medium flame.add coconut oil.when it becomes hot,add mustard seeds.allow it to splutter.then add chopped onions,green chillies,curry leaves and salt. Saute well until the onions are transparent.
Step 3
then add turmeric powder and black pepper powder.mix it well.
Step 4
finally add the cooked potatoes and carrot into it and give it a good mix.adjust the salt.add very little warm water and cook for 2-3 minutes more.
Step 5
turn off the flame once it is done and serve it hot with puri/chappathi.
