Step 1
slit each okra vertically twice to create 4 lengthwise strips. Then finely chop all the slit pieces.
Step 2
heat oil in a kadai and add curry leaves to it. Then add all the okra to it and fry it its light golden brown. By this time all the sliminess should have gone. keep it aside to cool
Step 3
Add all the coconut, some mustard and the green chillies to a mixer. Grind them without adding water first. Then add half a cup water and grind again to make a smooth paste
Step 4
add this paste and yogurt to the fried okra and mix it all up.
Step 5
For tempering/tadka, heat coconut oil in a small pan and once the oil is hot add urad dal and dried red chillies.
Step 6
Have it as a side with rice and any curry.
