diamond cut cake/vettu cake
This is a simple cake/snack which has a shape of diamond.!!

Step 1
Take a mixing bowl. Beat 3 eggs.add powdered sugar,a pinch of salt(don’t add more salt),vanilla essence,cardamom powder,ghee and baking soda.beat well to get a good egg mixture.
Step 2
now add all purpose flour,semolina into it little by little and mix again.
(Semolina is added to make the cake crispy)
Step 3
Knead it well to make a good dough(add little water if needed)
Step 4
Once the dough is ready,keep it aside for 2 hours(for raising).
Step 5
after two hours,
Spread some all purpose flour (maida) on the counter top.
Take our dough and place it on the counter top.
Knead it again for 5 minutes to make a smooth dough.
Step 6
Then,divide the dough into several balls and make long rectangular log with it.
Step 7
using a sharp knife cut the rectangular log in the shape of small triangles.
Step 8
deep fry it using vegetable/sunflower oil until it becomes golden brown in colour.sprinkle some powdered sugar over it and give it a mix.
Step 9
Cut cake is ready!!you can store it in a tight container and use it fresh for one week!!
