Split and Skinless Urad Dal

Step 1
Rinse and soak 2 cup urad dal in water for 5-6 hours or overnight
Step 2
Grind this soaked dal smooth in grinder, add 2-3 tbsp water to make it more smooth, add this into a big bowl, now add ginger and green chilli paste, 1/2 tsp salt, mix it well and leave it for 10-15 minutes

Heat oil in a pan, put 1 tbsp of this batter one by one and cook till it gets light brown from both the sides

For tamarind chutney, soak a bowl tamarind for 1 hour, now crush it with hands and sieve the paste like into a cookware, add 2 tbsp sugar or jaggery, 1 pinch salt and cook for 2-3 minutes
Step 5
Now out the fried vada in a plate, put curd of smooth texture on it, add the tamarind chutney onto it, add 1 pinch salt, 2 pinch roasted cumin powder, 1 linch red chilli powder and serve it
