Step 1
First, let's make the Dabeli masala. Roast all the spices on a low flame until you can smell their aroma. Add the spices to the blender and make a fine powder. Add the coconut and amchur powder to the masala powder and blend again.
Step 2
In a pan, heat up some oil, add Dabeli powder, and saute for a few minutes. Add chopped onions, after 2 minutes add mashed potatoes and saute well. Add salt and sweet tamarind chutney according to taste. Cook for a few minutes and add fried peanuts. Dabeli filling is ready
Step 3
Slice the pav horizontally, and spread a generous amount of Dabeli filling on the lower side of the bun pav. on top of the filling add finely chopped onions and pomegranate and place the upper part of the Pav on top.
Step 4
Heat the pan up and toss the Dabeli on both sides until the surface is lightly golden and crispy. Garnish it with Sev and crunchy peanuts.
