Step 1
Pressure cook rice and toor dal together along with the choice of vegetables.
I used beans, carrots and potatoes. Add 3-4 cups of water and cook it for about 5 whistles. Keep aside.
Step 2
Heat 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cashewnuts, curry leaves, diced onion and diced capsicum. Saute well.
Add 4-5 tsp of MTR Bisibele Bath Masala powder and add 3 tbsp of tamarind pulp, salt and cook well. Transfer the masala to the pressure cooker and cook on low flame without lid.
Step 3
Serve it hot with papad and generous amount of ghee topped.
