Step 1
Separate the drumstic leaves from the stem and wash in water. Drain water and keep aside. Grate the carrot. Heat 2 table spoon coconut oil in a kadai and saute the onion cut in small pieces with adequate quality of salt till the onion becomes translucent.
Step 2
Then add crushed chilli and turmeric powder and roast till the raw smell stops. Then add the grated carrot, saute well and cook for a minute. Not add the the drumstic leaves and mix well. Close the kadai and heat in medium flame. Open and stirring continuously till it it is cooked well.
Step 3
When add the grated coconut and mix properly. The tasty, healthy drumstick thoran is ready to serve.
