Drumstick (Vegatable) leaves

Boiled rice water(kanji vellam)

Cook the rice and take the water from it.
Step 1
Take the shredded drumstick leaves in a bowl.clean it well and drain the excess water using a strainer.
Step 2
Now put a pan on medium flame.add coconut oil.when the oil is hot,add mustard seeds.when it splutters,add dried red chillies,chopped onion,green chillies and salt.sauté for two minutes.
Step 3
now add the drumstick leaves into it and sauté well until the leaves are soft and well cooked.
Step 4
finally add one cup of boiled rice water into it and adjust the salt.allow it to boil.
Step 5
when the rice water becomes thick,we are almost done.you can turn off the flame and serve it hot with rice.
