Step 1
In a pan add oil and butter. Continue by adding spices- cloves, green cardamom pods, bay leaves and salute for 3- secs. Then add Onions and after they turn translucent add ginger garlic paste(you can add ginger and garlic too) and cook until raw smell is gone. Then add tomato and cashew nuts and after the tomatoes turn mushy, put aside and let it cool and grind into a fine paste.
Step 2
Later, Fry the onion petals in oil and put aside after they turn translucent. Now add oil and cook the capsicum pieces by putting the flame on low and covering the lid and keep stirring in between, put aside after cooked.
Step 3
Now add oil and butter in a khadai and pour the ground gravy paste. add salt, red chilli powder then cover the flame and cook until oil floats.
Step 4
Now pour fresh cream and cook for 2 mins. Later add the cooked onion petals, capsicum pieces into gravy and add water and garam masala powder.
Step 5
Cook for about 5 mins and finish by adding coriander leaves.
