Step 1
Add one cup urad daal(black lentils), 1/2 cup rajma in a bowl, add 3 cups water, soak it for 7-8 hours, now boil this soaked daal and rajma till 1 whistle in pressure cooker
Step 2
Take a pan, heat 3 tbsp oil, add 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp coriander seeds and cook till it gets brown, now add 1 tbsp ginger and green chilli paste , cook for 2 minutes, add 2 onion puree and cook for 3-4 minutes, now add paste of red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, 1 pinch Asafetida, cook for 5 minutes on low flame, now add puree of 2 tomatoes,1/2 tsp salt and cook for 5-6 minutes, now add the boiled boiled lentil and rajma in it ,mix it well and cook for 8-10 minutes on low flame, now add 1/4 tsp garam masala, mix it well and cook for more 2 minutes and serve it hot
