Cooking the Lady Finger

Step 1
Wash the Okra(Lady Finger) and wipe it with a wet cloth. Chop the lady finger into 1 inch piece. In a dry bowl add the chapped okra pieces and then add salt, red chilli powder and mix thoroughly.
Step 2
Next, add water and mix it properly so that all the spices and besan is coated well with the okra pieces. Next in a pan pour oil and cook this mixture upto 95%.
Step 3
Now, add oil in a pan and let it heat. Continue by adding mustard and cumin seeds followed by slit green chillies and finely chopped onions.
Step 4
After the onions turn translucent, add ginger garlic paste and salute until the raw smell is gone.
Step 5
Next add the tomato puree and mix thoroughly. Then add all the spices- turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, and red chilli powder.
Step 6
Cover the lid and cook until oil separates.
Step 7
Later add WHISKED CURD. Mix properly and then cover the lid and cook until oil floats
Step 8
Now add the cooked okra mixture and add water followed by garam masala powder. Mix properly and let it simmer for about 5 mins
Step 9
Finish it off by adding some coriander leaves.
