Step 1
First, crush ginger & green chilly. Then take a bowl & mix besan, curd, sugar, salt, water & crushed ginger& green chilly & beat it well in a mixie without lumps.
Step 2
Then take a large kadai, put ghee in it & crackle mustard seeds, add cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, 2 cloves, curry leaves, red chillies, fenugreek seeds & asafoetida
Step 3
Finally, add the curd & besan mixture slowly into the kadai, keep the gas on slow flame, stir & mix & bring it to boil stirring continuously so that the kadhi does not stick to the bottom of the kadai.
Step 4
Simmer for 5 to 7 minutes & serve hot with rice.
