Step 1
Heat a cooker n add to it cleaned n chopped mangalore cucumber.There is no need to peel off the skin of the cucumber.Add sufficient water just to immerse it.add turmeric n salt. only one whistle
Step 2
Fry in oil the dry red chillies. grind along with it coconut n jeera to a fine paste.Meantime extract tamarind pulp n keep aside
Step 3
open the cooker n smash the cucumber for quite sometime n add it to a clay pot Transfer the grinded paste n tamarind extract to the clay pot.Boil it well till it becomes a semi thick gravy. add to it curry leaves.
Step 4
Tadka to be done by heating oil n by adding mustard, fenugreek, dry red chilly n curry leaves.
