Step 1
Heat a pressure cooker n add to it chana, turmeric, slit green chillies, lengthy cut onions n ginger.add sufficient water n cook for 6 whistles. Soak chana in water overnight.
Step 2
Take a pan n add oil.Heat it n add coriander seeds ,dry red chillies n curry leaves.saute well till golden brown .Powder it in mixie n add along with it coconut n grind to a fine paste.
Step 3
Open the cooker n take 1/2 cup of chana from it n grind to a fine paste. transfer the chana paste n earlier grinded item to the cooker n boil it till it becomes a semi thick gravy.add salt n curry leaves.
Step 4
Tadka to be done by heating oil n adding to it mustard, curry leaves n chopped shallots. Serve hot with puttu
