Step 1
First wash the green chilies properly and wipe them with kitchen towel and then make a coarse paste of it....keep it aside
Step 2
Now peel off the garlic and make a fine paste of it
Step 3
Roast the peanuts and crush them coarsely..it will reduce the spiciness of greenchilles and will provide crunch to our thecha
Step 4
Now heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds...allow them to crackle.
Step 5
At this point add asophoetida and turmeric powder .now without burning our turmeric powder add quickly garlic paste and saute it for 10 seconds on a low flame.
Step 6
Add coarse paste of green chillies and cook it for a minute now add salt as per your taste .
Step 7
Now mix roasted coarsely crushed peanuts to our thecha ..lastly add lemon juice and cook it for another 10 seconds..during all this it will release the oil...and cooked nicely....
Step 8
Serve it with Jowar bhakari or rice roti...in gujrat it is served with theplas...we can store it in refrigerator for 10 days..
