Onion Fry / Ulli Vada

Ingredients
- 2-3 units Onions, finely sliced (Finely sliced)
- 3 units Green chillies, finely chopped (Finely chopped)
- 2 teaspoons Ginger, finely crushed (Finely crushed)
- 0.5 handful Curry leaves, finely crushed (Finely crushed)
- 0.5 handful Coriander leaves, finely crushed (Finely crushed)
- 2 tablespoons Gram flour
- 3 tablespoons All purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder
- 2 cups Vegetable oil

- 1In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced onions, green chillies, crushed ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, and salt. Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution of flavors.
- 2Add the turmeric powder, Kashmiri chili powder, all-purpose flour, and gram flour to the vegetable mixture. Mix well, adding a small amount of water if necessary to form a cohesive batter.
- 3Shape small portions of the mixture into balls, gently flatten them, and fry in vegetable oil over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
- 4Remove the vadas from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with a cup of tea.
