Onion Bhaji

Ingredients
- 2 units Onions (Do not cut into too fine pieces)
- 1 cup Chana dal powder (Also known as besan)
- 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves
- 1 pinch Asafetida
- 0.5 cup Water
- 2 cups Oil (For deep frying)

Instructions
- 1Combine the chana dal powder with water to form a batter. Ensure the batter is neither too thick nor too thin.
- 2Add turmeric, red chilli powder, asafetida, salt, and coriander leaves to the batter. Stir well to combine.
- 3Add half of the chopped onions to the batter and mix thoroughly. Reserve the remaining onions for later use.
- 4In a kadai, heat the oil over medium heat until hot.
- 5Add the remaining onions to the batter, mix well, and drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- 6Serve the onion bhajis hot with sauce as a snack, accompanied by tea.
