Step 1
Paste-
Grind coconut grated, red chilly, garlic. Make a fine paste. Keep it aside.
Step 2
In a vessel, pour Coconut oil, mustard seeds, let it splutter. Add curry leaves,
Add garlic, let it turn golden.
Add onion and tomato, let it become pulpy and soft.
Step 3
Now add the ground masala and cook for a minute or two without adding water.
After 2-3 mins add little water. Add an inch of tamarind.
Cook it for few mins.
And your ambat looqa is ready to serve. Best served with boiled rice and fish fry.
