Step 1
Let's do Marination first: Take a bowl and add chicken and 3 tbsp of yogurt ,lemon juice , ginger garlic paste, kashmiri lal mirch, mustard oil, garam masala, salt, kabab chinni, crushed kasuri methi and red food color mix well and set aside for at least 1 hour.
Step 2
Preparation for Gravy : chop the onion and in medium size, and heat oil in a pan add bay leaves ,jeera, cardamom and cinnamon stick stir once and add onions and stir it for a minute add tomatoes ,garlic cloves, ginger and cashew to it.
Step 3
Cook for 4-5 mins in a medium flame and add 400 ml of water stir it and cover the lid and cook for 10 mins on medium flame .Further remove it from flame and let it cool
Step 4
Once cooled transfer into mixture jar add littile and blend it to make fine puree (note: remove bay leaves)
Step 5
Let's make Tikka fry which we leave for marination: add butter to a fry pan either you can use skewer or directly add in fry pan and cook the chicken from all side until its tender. Once cooked just charm them on open flame to get that charred flavoure.
Step 6
Now take a pan and add oil to it and add small thin slices garlic cloves once it turn light brown add onions to it .
Step 7
Cook it for 5 mins till the onion color changes now lower the flame add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder , coriander powder and garam masala to it stir fry for 2 mins and add and Tomato puree and salt
Step 8
Cook on a low heat for about 6-7 mins till oil separates now add the masala puree we made earlier to it and cook for 4-5 mins.
Step 9
Stir it frequently and cook on medium flam.
Step 10
Add chicken tikka and stir it well and add kasuri methi ,butter ,finely chopped parsley leaves and cream to it
Step 11
Cook for 2-3 mins and serve hot with naan or rice
