Veg Omelette
A delightful vegetarian alternative to the traditional egg omelette, made with gram flour and a mix of fresh vegetables and spices.
Ingredients
- 6 tbsp Gram flour
- 2 units Onions, finely chopped (Finely chopped)
- 2 units Green chillies, finely chopped (Finely chopped)
- 1 handful Curry leaves, finely chopped (Finely chopped)
- 1 handful Coriander leaves, finely chopped (Finely chopped)
- 1 tsp Salt (Adjust to taste)
- 4 tsp Oil
- 0.5 cup Water (Add as needed to form a paste)

Instructions
- 1In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves, and salt. Gradually add water to form a thick paste, ensuring not to add too much water.
- 2Heat a pan over medium flame. Using your hands, spread half of the gram flour mixture onto the pan in a round shape. Avoid using a ladle or spoon for spreading.
- 3Pour 1 teaspoon of oil around the edges of the omelette. Cook on medium flame until the base is golden brown. Flip the omelette to cook the other side, adding another teaspoon of oil. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- 4Repeat the process with the remaining gram flour mixture to make a second omelette. Serve as a side dish with any main course.
