Step 1
Wash all the amla in running water and then cook it in a steamer for atleast 15-20 mins. Let it cool. Once cooked it should be easy to cut it without using a knife.
Step 2
Prepare a solution of salt, sugar and Black salt. Add these amla pieces and keep it aside for 3-6 hours.
Step 3
Strain it and sun dry the amla pieces for about 3-6 days. It turns yellowish brown in colour.
Step 4
You can store this in an airtight container and munch in it whenever and wherever you need. A healthy ayurvedic snack is ready !
