Mirchi sabzi is a dish that is made with peanuts. This is my go-to dish when I am short on time.

Step 1
Roast the peanuts and let them cool down. In a mixer jar transfer the cooled-down roasted peanuts and garlic cloves. Grind them into a medium coarse powder.
Step 2
In a frying pan, heat up oil and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. After 30-45 seconds add chopped onions to the oil. saute the onions till they turn light golden.
Step 3
Chop the chilies and make sure to remove all the seeds. Add the chilies to the oil and cook them on low flame until they are soft. Keep stirring it and add all the masalas.
Step 4
Add the peanut powder to the frying pan. Mix well so that the chilies are well coated with the peanut powder. saute for 2-3 minutes and add half a cup of water.
Step 5
cook for another 5 minutes and it's done. You can make different variations of this recipe by using vegetables like Tomatoes or brinjal or capsicum. Serve with rotis.
