Instructions
- 1In a mixing bowl, combine the wheat flour and salt. Gradually add water while kneading to form a soft dough.
- 2In a separate bowl, mix the finely chopped coriander leaves with red chilli powder, chaat masala, salt, and cumin seeds.
- 3Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a ball. Flatten each ball into a thin roti using a rolling pin.
- 4Spread a thin layer of butter on one roti. Sprinkle with red chilli powder and salt. Evenly distribute the coriander mixture and grated cheese over the roti.
- 5Moisten the edges of the roti with water. Place another roti on top and press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges for a secure seal.
- 6Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook the parantha on both sides until golden brown spots appear. Spread a teaspoon of butter on both sides while cooking.
- 7Serve the parantha hot with curd, tomato sauce, or green chutney.
