Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 bunch Coriander leaves (Finely chopped)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 0.5 cup Mozzarella cheese or cheddar (Grated)
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • 4 teaspoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chaat masala

Instructions

  1. 1In a mixing bowl, combine the wheat flour and salt. Gradually add water while kneading to form a soft dough.
  2. 2In a separate bowl, mix the finely chopped coriander leaves with red chilli powder, chaat masala, salt, and cumin seeds.
  3. 3Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a ball. Flatten each ball into a thin roti using a rolling pin.
  4. 4Spread a thin layer of butter on one roti. Sprinkle with red chilli powder and salt. Evenly distribute the coriander mixture and grated cheese over the roti.
  5. 5Moisten the edges of the roti with water. Place another roti on top and press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges for a secure seal.
  6. 6Heat a pan over medium heat. Cook the parantha on both sides until golden brown spots appear. Spread a teaspoon of butter on both sides while cooking.
  7. 7Serve the parantha hot with curd, tomato sauce, or green chutney.
