Ingredients

  • 2 slices White bread
  • 2 large Egg
  • 0.5 cup Whole milk
  • 0.25 medium Onions, finely chopped
  • 2 small Green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1 handful Cilantro, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 0.5 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black crushed pepper
  • 1 pinch Salt (Adjust to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions

  1. 1In a shallow, wide bowl, beat the eggs together with the milk, turmeric, red chilli powder, salt, crushed pepper, chopped onions, chopped green chillies, and cilantro until well combined.
  2. 2Melt the butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  3. 3Dip a slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring it is thoroughly soaked.
  4. 4Place the soaked bread onto the heated pan and cook on medium flame until golden brown on one side. Flip and cook the other side until golden brown as well.
  5. 5Repeat the soaking and cooking process with the second slice of bread.
  6. 6Serve the masala French toast hot, optionally with a side of ketchup.
