For frying the prawns
Step 1
Clean the prawns and wash it in warm water for 3 to 4 times. Take a small mixing bowl.add 1 tablespoon of chilli powder,1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,salt(1/2 teaspoon) and very little water.make a fine paste of it.Put the cleaned prawns into it and mix well.
Step 2
Fry this prawns in oil and keep it aside once it is done.
Step 3
Now take a pan and add 3 tablespoons of coconut oil into it. Then add onions,tomatoes.
,green chillies,ginger garlic paste and salt. Saute well until onions are transparent.
Step 4
Then add 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder,1 teaspoon chilli powder,1/2 teaspoon of garam masala and Corrionder leaves.give it a good mix.
Step 5
Then transfer the fried prawns into this masala and mix well. Prawns masala is ready.Keep it aside.
Step 6
Now we will make the rice for the prawns masala.
For that,take a pan on low flame.Add 2 teaspoons of ghee,2 and half cups of water,1/2 teaspoon of garam masala,salt and make it to boil.once it starts boiling,add 1 cup of jeerakashala rice.adjust the salt,cover with a lid and cook it for 10 minutes on low flame.
(Here we used 2 and half cup of water for 1 cup of jeerakashala rice)
Step 7
Our rice is also ready.
Now mix the prawns masala (which we prepared)and rice together.cook it for 2 minutes more on low flame and serve it hot!!
