Step 1
 1.cook the tapioca which is cut in small-medium cubes in hot water.put some salt and turmeric according to the taste.cook it until it is mashy.
PS: if you are cooking in a pressure cooker,cook the tapioca for 8-10 whistles.
Step 2
 Now marinate the chicken for 20 minutes adding chilli powder,turmeric powder,salt,ginger garlic paste,curd and pepper powder.then fry it in sunflower oil and keep it aside.
Step 3
 now take a round bottom pan and add 2 tbspn of vegetable oil when it is hot.
Step 4
 add chopped onion,tomoto,crushed ginger,garlic,green chillies and Corrionder leaves into it.
Step 5
 Add salt into it.don’t add too much.
Step 6
 add turmeric powder,chilli powder and pepper powder.give it a good mix and cook it until the onions are transparent.
Step 7
 next is the mixing process.here we combine the cooked and mashed tapioca with the fried chicken and well sauted onion masala.
You can mash the tapioca very well with a spoon or a fork.
Step 8
 cook the tapioca-chicken-onion mix for about 5 more minutes and give it a good mix(cover it and cook on medium flame).
Step 9
 Now take a pan and add 1 tspn of vegetable oil into it.when the oil hot add 1 tspn of mustard seeds.this process is called seasoning.add this into the tapioca chicken mix!mix it well!!add a teaspoon of lemon juice over it and Enjoy!!
Yummy kappa biriyani is ready to serve!!
