Creamed Peas

A simple recipe for creamed peas.

Ingredients

  • 1 can Canned peas
  • 2 tablespoonfuls Butter
  • 1 tablespoonful All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoonful Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoonful Salt
  • 1/3 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. 1Drain and rinse the canned peas. Cover the peas with boiling water and drain again.
  2. 2Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour, sugar, and salt. Stir to combine.
  3. 3Add the prepared peas and milk to the saucepan. Stir and let cook until the liquid begins to bubble.
