Creamed Peas
A simple recipe for creamed peas.
Ingredients
- 1 can Canned peas
- 2 tablespoonfuls Butter
- 1 tablespoonful All-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoonful Granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoonful Salt
- 1/3 cup Milk
Instructions
- 1Drain and rinse the canned peas. Cover the peas with boiling water and drain again.
- 2Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour, sugar, and salt. Stir to combine.
- 3Add the prepared peas and milk to the saucepan. Stir and let cook until the liquid begins to bubble.
