  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Ghee
  • 0.5 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 1 cup Water (Boiled)

Instructions

  1. 1In a pan, heat the ghee over medium heat until fully melted.
  2. 2Add the wheat flour to the pan with the ghee. Roast over low heat, stirring continuously, until the flour turns a dark golden brown and releases a nutty aroma.
  3. 3Boil 1 cup of water separately. Gradually add the boiled water to the roasted flour, stirring briskly to prevent lumps from forming.
  4. 4Once the water is absorbed by the flour, add the sugar. Stir continuously until the sugar dissolves and the mixture starts releasing ghee and leaves the sides of the pan.
  5. 5Sprinkle cardamom powder over the halwa and mix well. Serve hot.
