Egg Fried Rice

Fluffy and aromatic Egg fried rice.

Ingredients

  • 3 units Egg
  • 1.5 cups Basmati Rice
  • 1 unit Capsicum
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Crushed Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Schezwan Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 3 units Green Chillies
  • 1 unit Onion
  • 5 units Garlic Cloves
  • 3 tablespoons Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. 1Bring water to a boil in a pot. Add salt and basmati rice. Cook until the rice is fully done. Strain the rice and set aside.
  2. 2Heat oil in a pan. Crack the eggs into the pan, sprinkle with salt and black crushed pepper. Scramble the eggs until fully cooked but still soft. Set aside.
  3. 3In the same pan, heat additional oil. Add garlic, ginger, onions, and green chillies. Sauté until fragrant. Add capsicum and stir-fry briefly.
  4. 4Add salt, black crushed pepper, soy sauce, and schezwan sauce to the pan. Stir well. Add the scrambled eggs and cooked rice. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients.
  5. 5Garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
