Vegetable Hakka Rice

A delightful Chinese-inspired main dish featuring a medley of vegetables and rice, seasoned with white pepper and a hint of Ajinomoto for an authentic taste.

Ingredients

  • 250 gms White rice
  • 50 gms French Beans (Diced)
  • 25 gms Carrot (Diced)
  • 50 gms Cabbage (Diced)
  • 50 gms White Mushrooms (Chopped)
  • 25 gms Bamboo shoots
  • 1 unit/count Onions (Thinly sliced)
  • 1 unit/count Capsicum (Chopped)
  • 2 unit/count Spinach leaves (Only leaves)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ajinomoto (MSG)
  • 1 tbsp White Pepper powder

Instructions

  1. 1Cook the rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, rinse it under cold water and set aside to drain completely.
  2. 2Boil the diced vegetables until they are half-cooked. Drain and set aside.
  3. 3In a deep pan, heat oil and sauté the half-cooked vegetables for 2 minutes. Add the cooked rice and continue to sauté for an additional 2 minutes. Season with salt, Ajinomoto, and white pepper powder, and sauté for another minute.
  4. 4Transfer the Vegetable Hakka Rice to a serving dish and serve hot.
