Vegetable Hakka Rice
A delightful Chinese-inspired main dish featuring a medley of vegetables and rice, seasoned with white pepper and a hint of Ajinomoto for an authentic taste.
Ingredients
- 250 gms White rice
- 50 gms French Beans (Diced)
- 25 gms Carrot (Diced)
- 50 gms Cabbage (Diced)
- 50 gms White Mushrooms (Chopped)
- 25 gms Bamboo shoots
- 1 unit/count Onions (Thinly sliced)
- 1 unit/count Capsicum (Chopped)
- 2 unit/count Spinach leaves (Only leaves)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ajinomoto (MSG)
- 1 tbsp White Pepper powder
Instructions
- 1Cook the rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, rinse it under cold water and set aside to drain completely.
- 2Boil the diced vegetables until they are half-cooked. Drain and set aside.
- 3In a deep pan, heat oil and sauté the half-cooked vegetables for 2 minutes. Add the cooked rice and continue to sauté for an additional 2 minutes. Season with salt, Ajinomoto, and white pepper powder, and sauté for another minute.
- 4Transfer the Vegetable Hakka Rice to a serving dish and serve hot.
