Spicy Drumsticks Fry/Muringha Fry
A very special, spicy, and delicious side dish featuring drumsticks (vegetable) fried to perfection with a blend of spices.
Ingredients
- 2-3 units Drumsticks (vegetable)
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Garam masala
- 1-2 units Dried red chilli (Crushed)
- 3-4 tablespoons Coconut oil

Instructions
- 1Peel the skin off the drumsticks and wash them thoroughly. Cut them into equal parts, approximately 2 inches in length.
- 2In a bowl, combine red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt, black pepper powder, garam masala, and crushed red chilli flakes. Add 2 tablespoons of warm water and mix to form a smooth paste.
- 3Transfer the drumsticks into the bowl with the spice paste and mix well to coat evenly. Allow them to marinate for about 10-15 minutes.
- 4Place a pan over medium heat and add coconut oil. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the marinated drumsticks one by one. Fry until the drumsticks are golden brown.
- 5Remove the drumsticks from the oil once they are done. Serve hot with rice.
