Coleslaw/KFC Side Dish
The popular salad for KFC made in Kerala style!
Ingredients
- 0.25 cup Sugar
- 0.25 cup Plain Yogurt
- 0.25 teaspoon Black Crushed Pepper
- 2 teaspoons White Vinegar
- 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
- 2.5 teaspoons Salt
- 0.5 cup Whole Milk
- 0.5 unit/count Cabbage (Finely grated)
- 1 unit/count Carrot (Finely grated)
- 1 unit/count Egg
- 1 cup Sunflower Oil
- 1 unit/count Garlic Cloves

Instructions
- 1In a blender, combine one egg, salt, vinegar, a garlic clove, and half a cup of sunflower oil. Blend until the mixture becomes creamy and thick. Gradually add the remaining half cup of sunflower oil and blend again until smooth. The mayonnaise is now ready.
- 2Transfer the prepared mayonnaise to a mixing bowl. Add yogurt, sugar, milk, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
- 3Add the grated cabbage and carrot to the bowl with the dressing. Mix thoroughly to ensure the vegetables are well coated.
- 4Taste the coleslaw and adjust the salt if necessary. Serve immediately as a side dish with fried chicken or your preferred main course.
