Besan Laddu

Mouth watering sweet prepared in a very simple way.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Besan (Gram flour)
  • 0.25 cup Ghee
  • 0.125 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 0.75 cup Sugar powder
  • 2 tablespoons Cashews (roasted)

Instructions

  1. 1In a thick-bottomed pan, melt the ghee over low heat. Add the besan and stir continuously for approximately 20 minutes until the ghee separates and the mixture becomes aromatic.
  2. 2Turn off the heat and stir in the cardamom powder until well combined.
  3. 3Allow the mixture to cool to lukewarm. Add the powdered sugar and mix thoroughly. Once cooled, incorporate the roasted cashews.
  4. 4Shape the mixture into small, round laddus using your hands. Serve and enjoy.
