- 1 cup Split urad dal
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 2 units Green chillies
- 0.5 inch Ginger
- 0.5 unit Onions (1/2 of medium size onion)
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- 2 cups Oil (For deep frying)

Crispy Dosa

Instructions
- 1Soak the split urad dal in water for 6 to 7 hours until it becomes soft.
- 2Drain the soaked dal and grind it in a mixer grinder without adding water, along with salt, until a smooth batter is formed. Set aside.
- 3Finely chop the green chillies, ginger, onion, and curry leaves. Add them to the ground batter and mix thoroughly.
- 4Heat oil in a kadai over medium flame until it is hot enough for deep frying.
- 5Wet your palm with water, scoop a small amount of batter, shape it into a ball, make a hole in the center, and gently place it into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
- 6Serve the hot vadas with coconut chutney or sambar.
