Instructions
- 1Place the cooked rice in a mixer grinder and blend into a smooth paste, adding a little water if necessary. Transfer the paste to a bowl, using water on your hands to prevent sticking.
- 2Add rava, rice flour, chopped ginger, curry leaves, onions, green chillies, and crushed pepper to the rice paste. Mix well and let the mixture rest for 30 minutes with a closed lid.
- 3Wet your hands and take a portion of the mixture to form a ball. Flatten it slightly and create a hole in the center using your finger dipped in water.
- 4Heat sunflower oil in a deep pan over low to medium flame. Carefully add the shaped vadas and fry until golden brown on both sides. Serve hot with coconut chutney or idli.
