Fry Wonton
A delightful Chinese starter featuring crispy fried wontons filled with a savory mixture of vegetables and spices.
Ingredients
- 300 gms Maida (All purpose flour)
- 1 unit Carrot (Diced)
- 50 gms Cabbage (Diced)
- 2 units Green chillies (Chopped)
- 1 tsp Ajinomoto (MSG)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp White Pepper powder
- 500 ml Oil for frying (For deep frying)

Instructions
- 1Combine the maida with water to form a smooth dough. Roll the dough into small discs slightly larger than a puri.
- 2In a bowl, combine the diced carrot, diced cabbage, chopped green chillies, salt, ajinomoto, and white pepper powder. Mix thoroughly to create the filling.
- 3Place a small amount of the filling onto each dough disc. Fold the edges over the filling and seal tightly to form wontons.
- 4Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Carefully add the wontons and fry until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5Serve the fried wontons hot with chili sauce.
