Kerala Traditional Style Avil Upma

Instructions
- 1Soak the poha in water for 6 minutes. After soaking, drain the water and squeeze the poha gently to remove excess moisture.
- 2In a clay cooking pot, heat the coconut oil over medium heat. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry red chillies, and split urad dal. Sauté until the mustard seeds start to crackle and the urad dal turns golden brown. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they become golden brown.
- 3Add the prepared poha to the pot with the tempering. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Garnish with shredded coconut and mix thoroughly. Turn off the heat and serve hot.
