Fish Fry
Another version of fish fry using a variety of ingredients to garnish the same.
Ingredients
- 300 gms Fish (Fish of your choice.)
- 2 inch Ginger
- 10 unit/count Garlic flakes
- 1 tbsp Black peppercorns
- 2 sprig Curry leaves
- 1 tbsp Kashmiri chili powder
- 2 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tbsp Black Pepper powder
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 unit/count White onions
- 10 unit/count Coconut sliced
- 0.5 cup Coconut oil
- 1 tsp Salt (Adjust to taste)

Instructions
- 1Clean the sliced fish and set aside. In a mixer grinder, blend ginger, garlic, and black peppercorns into a paste. Add curry leaves and salt, and grind again to achieve a fine paste.
- 2Coat the fish with turmeric, Kashmiri chili powder, and black pepper powder. Add the ground paste and lemon juice, ensuring the fish is evenly covered. Reserve a small portion of the paste for later use.
- 3Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium flame. Fry the marinated fish, flipping to ensure even cooking, until golden brown. Remove the fish and set aside.
- 4In the same pan, fry the sliced white onions in the remaining oil until translucent. Remove and set aside.
- 5Add the coconut slices, coated with the reserved paste, to the pan. Fry until lightly browned.
- 6Arrange the fried fish on a serving plate, garnished with the fried onions and coconut slices. Serve hot.
