Step 1
Clean the fish 4-5 times and spread salt,1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder and 1 teaspoon chilli powder over it.keep it aside.(marination)
Step 2
now put a pan (cooking on clay pot is the best) on medium flame.add coconut oil.when it is hot,add mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds.let the mustard seeds splutter completely.
Step 3
Now add onions,tomatoes,green chillies,crushed ginger,garlic and salt.saute well until the onions look transparent.
Step 4
then add finely chopped raw mango into it.mix well and add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,Kashmiri chilli powder and curry leaves.give it a good mix.adjust the salt.
Step 5
now add one cup of warm water to it.when the water starts boiling add the marinated fish into it.cook for 5-6 minutes on medium flame.turn it off once it is done.
Step 6
Enjoy the mango-fish curry with hot rice!!
