bajre (pearl millet) ki roti
Here's my favorite desi food. It is a healthy alternative to whole wheat Rotis. It is rich in essential elements like Magnesium, Potassium, and Iron.

Bajra ka
Atta
1
cup
wheat flour
1/2
cup
water
1/2
cup
salt
1/2
tsp
Step 1
Take Bajre ka aata in a bowl, and add 1/2 tsp of salt.
Step 2
Add water gradually, one spoon at a time. Be cautious because Bajre ka aata doesn't absorb a lot of water.
Step 3
Knead the dough as much as you can. The quality of the roti will directly depend upon it.
Step 4
You can divide the dough into 3 parts if you are going to make small rotis.
Step 5
Roll each piece after dipping it in Wheat flour. You can even use your palm area to make the roti by applying pressure and also to make a circle shape. No need to use a roller. The roller is recommended for a beginner.
Step 6
Contrary to the roti made of wheat flour, the roti from the Chakla must be removed by flipping it over onto your palm due to its fragility and likelihood of sticking to the Chakla's surface.
Step 7
Put the Roti on the tawa, sprinkle water on the side which is away from the tawa, and cook it simply as the roti is cooked.
Step 8
Take the roti off the tawa and don't forget to smear ghee onto the surface. It increases the roti's flavor by two.
Step 9
You can serve it with any vegetable curry. I prefer eating it with Pumpkin curry.
Step 10
You can crumble the rotis, add ghee, and curry. Mix it well and stimulate your tongue and health with this whole-grain beneficial cereal.
Step 11
TIP: Only knead the amount of dough that is needed because, unlike roti made from wheat flour, this dough cannot be kept.
