Ingredients

  • 0.33 cup Boiling water
  • 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon Lemon rind (From about 1/2 lemon)
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 0.25 cup Sugar
  • 2 Egg yolks

  4. 4Place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water (double boiler). Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens. This should take about 5-8 minutes.
  5. 5Remove the bowl from the heat. Stir in the lemon juice and lemon rind.
