French Dressing
A classic French dressing recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoonful Salt
- 1/4 teaspoonful Black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoonful Cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoonfuls Vinegar or lemon juice
- 6 tablespoonfuls Oil
- 1/2 teaspoonful Prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoonful Onion juice
Instructions
- 1In a bowl, mix the salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. If using, add the prepared mustard and onion juice (or rub the salad bowl with a slice of onion or clove of garlic).
- 2Add the oil to the bowl and mix well. Then, add the vinegar or lemon juice a few drops at a time, mixing constantly until an emulsion forms.
