Ingredients
- 4 eggs Eggs
- 1 tablespoonful Mixed mustard
- 1/2 teaspoonful Salt
- 5 tablespoonfuls Vinegar
- a little Cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoonful Butter
- as needed Milk or cream

Instructions
- 1Lightly beat the eggs in a heat-safe bowl.
- 2Add the mixed mustard, salt, vinegar, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to the eggs. Mix well.
- 3Place the bowl in a dish filled with boiling water. Stir constantly until the mixture is warmed through.
- 4Once warmed, add the butter and continue stirring until the dressing is slightly thicker than custard.
- 5If desired, you can boil the dressing a bit longer to thicken it further. If it becomes too thick, thin it with milk or cream to your desired consistency.
