Ingredients

  • 6 large Large sweet potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Instructions

  1. 1Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Slice them lengthwise into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  2. 2In a small saucepan, combine the brown sugar and water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes to create a syrup. Add the butter and stir until melted.
