Stuffed Chilli Potato
Stuffed chillies with spicy and tangy masala is just a perfect dish to break the monotony of regular boring lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 7 units Green chillies
- 1 unit Onion
- 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic paste (Finely chopped)
- 2 units Potato (Boiled)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Dry mango powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Fennel seeds
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric
- 0.5 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 0.25 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 0.25 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1 pinch Asafetida

Instructions
- 1Cut the green chillies into two equal halves or slit them lengthwise.
- 2Boil the potatoes until tender, peel them, and grate them. Set aside.
- 3Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fennel seeds, and asafetida. Quickly add turmeric powder and finely chopped onion.
- 4Saute the mixture for 15 seconds, then add ginger garlic paste. Saute for a few more seconds before adding green chillies and salt.
- 5Saute for 2 minutes, then add the boiled potatoes. Mix in red chilli powder, coriander powder, and dry mango powder. Stir well to combine.
- 6Cook for another two minutes. The stuffed chilli potato is ready to be served hot with plain parantha or chapati.
