Black Pomfret Fish Fry

A delicious and crispy Black Pomfret fish fry, seasoned with a blend of spices and fried to perfection. Perfect as a side dish for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 600 grams Black Pomfret Fish
  • 1 medium Onions (Medium size)
  • 4 cloves Garlic flakes
  • 1 small piece Ginger (Very small ginger piece)
  • 1 sprig Curry leaves (Small sprig)
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black crushed pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Oil

Instructions

  1. 1Cut the black pomfret into medium slices. Wash thoroughly with turmeric and salt, then set aside to drain the water.
  2. 2Grind the onions, garlic flakes, ginger, curry leaves, red chilli powder, turmeric, black crushed pepper, and salt into a smooth paste using a mixer grinder.
  3. 3Coat the fish slices with the prepared masala paste and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. 4Heat oil in a shallow pan over medium flame. Fry the marinated fish slices until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
  5. 5Serve the fried fish hot as a side dish with rice and curry.
