Jalapeño Poppers
This is a rich combination of spicy, roasted jalapeño peppers, cream cheese, salty parmesan, and crunchy bacon that hits all the right spots, every time.
Ingredients
- 8 large Jalapeño peppers (Large)
- 8 oz Parmesan cheese (Grated)
- 8 oz Cream cheese
- 4 slices Bacon (Cooked and finely chopped)
- 2 tbsp Chives (Chopped)
- 2 cloves Garlic cloves (Minced)
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Black crushed pepper
- 2 tbsp Butter (Melted)
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lightly greasing it.
- 2In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, crumbled bacon, chives, garlic, salt, and pepper. Reserve some chives and bacon for garnish.
- 3Halve each jalapeño lengthwise. Remove the seeds and membranes using a paring knife. It is recommended to wear gloves during this process.
- 4Using a spoon, evenly distribute the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
- 5Melt the butter and pour it over the panko bread crumbs. Mix evenly using your hands.
- 6Sprinkle the panko mixture evenly over each jalapeño popper. Place the peppers, cut side up, on the prepared baking sheet. Bake on the bottom rack until the cheese has melted, jalapeños have softened, and the panko is golden brown, approximately 30 minutes.
- 7Remove from the oven and sprinkle the reserved chives and bacon over the poppers. Serve warm and enjoy!
