Roasted Shishito Peppers

Shishito peppers roasted in olive oil and salt, offering a simple yet flavorful appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 10 units Shishito pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt

Instructions

  1. 1Coat the shishito peppers evenly with olive oil.
  2. 2Place a pan on high heat and allow it to become very hot.
  3. 3Add the peppers to the hot pan. Allow them to cook without stirring until the bottoms are blackened, approximately 2-3 minutes.
  4. 4Turn the peppers to the other side and continue to roast until the other side is also blackened, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. 5Remove the peppers from the pan, season with a pinch of salt, and serve immediately.
