Ginger Tea
Unofficial National drink or beverage of India.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Ginger, pounded (1 small piece of ginger nicely pounded)
- 3 tsp Tea powder (Adjust to taste)
- 3 tsp Jaggery (Can substitute with sugar)
- 2 cup Whole Milk
- 1.5 cups Water (For boiling)

Instructions
- 1In a saucepan, bring 1.5 cups of water to a boil.
- 2Add the pounded ginger to the boiling water and continue to boil for a few minutes to infuse the flavor.
- 3Incorporate the tea powder into the saucepan and allow it to boil for 2 minutes.
- 4Pour in the whole milk and bring the mixture to a boil.
- 5Add jaggery and stir well to dissolve completely.
- 6Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.
